I bake a lot of desserts so if you have a sweet tooth, subscribe to my posts now so you never miss out! My recipes are inspired by meals I had growing up that I’ve updated with a modern twist, healthier ingredients and 100% real food. I’m also inspired by the cuisine of Texas and my husband’s Indian heritage. I find joy in recreating my favorite dishes from Austin restaurants, making them more accessible to the everyday cook! My real job as a project manager keeps me in the trenches with the latest technology and gadgets but also provides me with coworkers who moonlight as my recipe critics.

Being a modern woman holding down a full-time job along with this blog means there’s a healthy balance of cooking at home and indulging in Austin’s booming restaurant scene! I love providing restaurant reviews whether it’s one of Austin’s essential restaurants or the latest kitchen to open in the city. Either way, expect lots of foodie opinions!

Some weeks, you’ll find a round-up of food news from around the web, beautiful kitchen inspiration, fashion favorites, and lifestyle finds.
I also share decorating tips and experiences as my husband (<3M) and I slowly update our home to better fit our personal style. I’m not super crafty but I’m pretty creative with the basics and enjoy sharing easy craft ideas to spruce up your home without blowing your budget.
Since I just turned 30, I’m really into skincare and have always had a deep love for hair and make-up so every now and then, I’ll share my latest and greatest routine or product finds to help ensure you age gracefully as well! Because let’s be real, when we’re older, don’t you want to be that 70-year-old lady with great skin who looks 52? I sure do.
