I’m sharing my End of Summer Bucket List to ensure I soak up the final days of Summer before it’s officially Fall on September 22nd. What’s on your list?
How can it possibly be Labor Day weekend already? Summer really flies by and I have no idea where it went. While reflecting on the past few months, I realize I had bunch of fun this summer including celebrating <3M receiving his U.S. citizenship, lazy days at the pool, BBQs with burgers, sunset at the Oasis, lots of rose and quality time at home knocking out a few domestic projects.
But now that we’re rounding out the final days of summer, I still find myself missing a few of my favorite summertime activities. To ensure I get the most out of these final days of Summer, I created an End of Summer Bucket List with 5 things I want to cross-off before it’s official Autumn on September 22nd.
My End of Summer Bucket List
Grab Ice Cream from Nada Moo – I’m craving one last summertime ice cream cone! I’ve yet to visit the new shop on South Lamar and have been day dreaming about going. Any flavor suggestions?
Float the River – I haven’t gone tubing in a few years and really want to fit this in. I have it tentatively planned for September 22nd — I know, I’m cutting it close to my Autumn deadline…
Take an Outdoor Fitness Class – Ugh, I’ve been meaning to do this all summer long and just never had the energy to do the summer yoga series after work on Tuesday nights. There’s a few Saturday outdoor fitness classes so I’m hoping to choose one!
Visit Hawk’s Shadow Winery – I love this winery. It’s a nice little drive from Austin, it has a beautiful patio and the most gorgeous views. We haven’t been in a few years and I really want to take a Saturday drive and relax with a glass of their wine and cheese board.
Make Something S’More Flavored – I haven’t had a single s’more flavored treat ALL SUMMER LONG. S’mores are the definition of summertime flavors. I’m thinking of sneaking in these quick S’Mores bars this weekend to knock it off my bucket list.
Do you have any final summertime activities you’re looking to fit in before Autumn officially begins? Or are you the type that’s eager to welcome the Pumpkin Spice Latte in August?
